Humble Beginnings
The Falcons Group came to be in Fall 2018 with the acquisition of 16 TGI Fridays located in the Midwest by Co-Founders Ali Chunara and Shamsu Charania. Both Founders had years of experience as quick-service restaurant operators, but this was their first venture into casual dining. But, as the saying goes, “Fortune favors the brave,” and despite the challenges and growing pains, the investment soon became prosperous and laid a strong foundation for future growth. Since then, The Falcons Group has quickly expanded to operating over 90 locations in 7 states while owning several of its real estates. Moreover, The Group has become the largest Checkers & Rally’s franchisee in the brand within 2 yrs of entering the system.
The Falcons Group
The Falcons Group is a franchise management network that owns and operates over 90 locations comprised of 4 different brands. Each brand is separated into different entities and each entity operates separately of the other. However, all locations are provided support and direction from the corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Falcons Burger manages Checkers & Rally's Drive-in, Falcons Coffee oversees Dunkin’/ Baskin Robbins cafes and our newest venture, Falcons Restaurant Group, operates TGI Fridays. In addition, the Group owns the real estate for several locations and is managed by the last entity, Falcons Properties. Using strategic acquisitions, smart conversations, and diligent new store development tactics, The Falcons Group now operates in seven states in the United States and will continue to expand.

Our commitment: The Falcons Group believes an integral responsibility of any business is to give back to the local community and to try and take it a step further by partnering with organizations that help others around the world. Regardless of race, gender, nationality, or religion, every person deserves equal access to basic human necessities, and we chose our charity partners with this goal in mind.
The Aga Khan Foundation has worked for over 50 years to improve the quality of life for marginalized communities in the world. They work to secure human, technical, and financial resources to improve food security, education, create international scholarship programs, and raise awareness for proper nutrition. As an agency of Aga Khan Development Network, the Foundation has assisted in over 9,000 building projects, provided 5 million people with quality health care, and has won the Aga Khan Award for 116 projects ranging from green buildings to restorations. The Falcons Group is a proud contributor and is excited about the possibility of a more prosperous world.
The Joy in Childhood Foundation believes that change can be impactful on the local level and, powered by the generosity of franchisees, partners, employees, and guests of Dunkin’, the Foundation is able “to provide the simple joys of childhood to kids battling hunger and illness.” Franchisee and brand employees volunteer their time to help identify the needs of their community then use local fundraising, volunteer events, and grant-making to spread joy to those who need it. The Falcons Group is proud to be associated with an organization that provided over $26 million in grants and helped over 5.3 million families when they needed it most.
No Kid Hungry is an organization that has one goal; every child in America should have access to three meals a day. The organization strives to teach healthy, affordable recipes and to provide a nutritious meal for children whose family may struggle. Child nutrition programs are proven to work yet not enough children can access them. No Kid Hungry believes in implementing school breakfasts, afterschool meals, and additional meals in the summer to ensure every child can eat. Through partnered brands like TGI Fridays and Checkers Drive-in, The Falcons Group has been able to contribute to such an important cause since 2018.
